Because three months later, she clearly loves Jack. Not that I can blame her... ;)... but if I'd just lost the man I love, I'd still be deep in my grief at three months.

View Full Version : Did Juliet Really Love Goodwin? Bella 03-06-2008, 11:46 PM Because three months later, she clearly loves Jack. It did seem like she really loved Goodwin. Do we know for sure that she's in love with Jack? Clearly she has romantic feelings for him, but that doesn't mean she's completely forgotten about Goodwin or is completely over him. Jynes 03-06-2008, 11:56 PM There are different levels of love. With Goodwin I did not think it was anything more then a casual relationship. Nothing serious I thin it was serious for him; I think he was in love with her. I'm not really sure how she felt about him, though. Kate731, even if she's not in love with Jack, she definitely has feelings for him that are building -- and that would be pretty impossible for someone who'd just lost (to death) the person they loved. Michelle Friday 03-07-2008, 12:05 AM My take on it is being it's craphole Island, and Juliet seems to be a very sensitive and emotional person, it would be easy for her to find someone who would be kind and "normal" and affectionate with. She must be extremely lonely and sad, held prisoner really, there. jennylee27 03-07-2008, 12:09 AM I don't think she loved Goodwin or loves Jack yet. As Michelle said, Juliet is so emotional. I think she has a tendency to lean on strong men for support. In the case of these two men, they were probably good choices (despite Goodwin being married). In the case of Ben and Ed, not so much. Personally I hope her relationship with Jack grows to the level of love, but we shall see if there is even time for that before Jack leaves the island. Sadly, I don't see her going with him. Luanne 03-07-2008, 12:57 AM No. I think Juliet was lonely and emotional and he befriended her. Juliet had feelings for him , but Goodwin was into it more then her. She liked spending time with him, drinking wine by the beach, but I didn't get any love from her. Juliet doesn't love Jack, but certainly has feelings for him. |
