Okay, so tonight we saw a new member of the other camp Harper. Besides that most of the major characters that were others are now dead or defeacted. How big is there group, how many more have we yet to see?

I think last season mention was made that there were approximately 50 Others traveling from the Barracks to the Temple. Don't quote me.

and we have no way of knowing how large a group(if any) were already at the Temple.

Well, there sure were a lot at the pillar where Locke was supposed to sacrifice his father. They all went to the temple and we don't know if there were more already there.

And that group of 50+ Others doesn't include the ones who have been killed (Ethan, Goodwin, Colleen, Tom, Klugh, Jason, Ryan).

Yes, I'm still in denial over Isabel's alleged "death"...

There seems to be a lot of work to do on the island, since there's so many people.

Ben has workers all around the world too, it looks like "the others" is a quite large franchise.

Before the episode aired, I (and others) had been slightly bemoaning the fact that we hadn't seen the Others yet this season, and the curiosity was building. I had to laugh when I saw this episode, because we DID get to see the Others, only not the way I thought we would.

I did appreciate getting some information about them, though. Also, Ben seems to indicate that he is on the outs with his people, as we have seen in previous episodes. Wonder how that will factor in?

I was thinking on Thursday, if we added up all the extras that have been used as both plane crash survivors and Others, it would be a LOT more than there are supposed to be, I think.

Well, they won't give us a definitive number, because I assume they may want to add more characters when they feel like it, like Harper in TOW.

Great question, but I think its one of those questions that really has no answer.
I think the writers add Others as they see fit.
But im guessing there's 2,000 Others, lmaoo ; )
