It leaves room for Karl to seek vengeance someday. I can't think of anyone else I'd rather see destroy Ben..

Thanks I/T and Good point there. He really doesn't Like Karl and that would be another reson. Plus Karl looks similar to Goodwin.

Could be, could be. It always seemed like Karl was born on the island - he seemed to know things, like the Ben wasn't Alex's real father and so maybe he had been around a long time like Richard. But maybe he just came as a very young child. I could definitely seeing that upping Ben's animosity toward Karl.

I would imagine, the only reason Karl is still alive is Ben had an agreement to not hurt him for some reason, unless he is immortal like Richard...And hat he doesn't want Alex to Hate him.

His knowledge could simply be because he is older than Alex and knew Ben never had a wife who died (aka Alex's mother)
