Sawyer wasn't in the episode until the end, but the episode ended with an astonished look on his face. Sawyer and Hurley will finally get to do something besides play games. Sawyer knows Ben conned Locke, and Sawyer will lead this revolution Ben spoke of.

It's payback time. Sawyer will one up.

Maybe this is where he realizes he should have went with Jack.

Claire I believe wanted to start the "reveloution" first by interogating miles.

He should have gone with team Jack seeing as team Locle obviously does not know what the hell is going on. All Locke knows how to do is dictate. He is more cluelss then anyone else on the island.JMHO

Strangely, that was the first time I ever sensed sincerity in Ben's voice. But I dont know if i trust what he said yet, as that could have been apart of his con. Especially with the smirk he gave last time after Lock walked out of there and threw the plate against the wall.

I dont think there will be a revolution from Sawyer though. I think that he'd just walk out of there back to the beach...or just live on his own with Hurley.

I think Sawyer will put more of a priority on beating Hurley at horseshoes. But Claire seems to be on the case - go Claire!

ICAM Mom. Sawyer's purpose it seems on this anymore is taking his shirt off with Kate and comic relief. I havent seen a emotional deep eppisode from him in a very long time. He has the importance of a redshirt that has a romance if you ask me.

Claires a redshirt it seems no doubt but her scene seemed more like her leading it then Sawyer.

There will be a show-down between Locke and Sawyer. Somewhere in there SOMETHING will come out about what Locke now knows. THAT my friends, will be pure Lost goodness. Dharma wine and beer for all!! :rootbeer:

Early in S1 I predicted Sawyer would be the first Lost hero. I was wrong, and dang I'd just about given up on him.
So I love this idea.

I'm not a shipper but after tonight I think he and Claire just *have* to team up, heroically and romantically.

Wow. Is today opposite day? There's a reason why Jack told Kate that they were not supposed to leave. Locke has always been in-tune with the island, except now he's been put in a tough position that he can't handle well because Jack's actions forced the Losties to split up, with Locke as a leader. It's the beginning of the end.

I am sorry if I am not a huge fan of Lockes (after season one him blaming Boone's death on "the sacrifice the island demanded") and how easily Ben can manipulate him constantly, teamed with the fact he murdered a women in cold blood without even knowing her who came to rescue them I am unsure Locke knows anything about the island.

All Locke knows is the island healed him and for 4 seasons has not had a clue about anything else other then that. He is willing to put all the losties in danger (as he did with Boone and when he wanted to open the hatch knowing it said quarintine on it and Jack didn't want to open it) all for the island. I don't hate Locke. Terry Quin is great and Locke was great in season one but I wouldn't follow Locke anywhere.

Locke is still a follower, and whatever he gets his orders from has deserted him. He is lost , and easy pickings for the likes of Ben. Best thing for Locke at this point is to get overthrown and get out of Otherton. Then he will be back in the game. It might take Jack and Locke working together (science and faith) to accomplish whatever the ultimate payoff of Lost will be.

Locke gave Sawyer the closure he'd been seeking since his parents were killed. That's gonna buy a lot of latitude from Sawyer. And he's settling in. He's made the decision to stay on the island and he's trying to make the best of it whole heartedly. Makes perfect sense to me that he wouldn't have much drama working right now. It's coming, of course...it's Sawyer, but there's no call for it right now. Other players are on the stage.

As for Claire, she's not leading anything. This is just a new bird for her to chase for a while, some invisible peanut butter to eat, if you will. There's not going to be a revolution unless Ben wants a revolution. He's just goading Locke as usual. Ben strikes me as pretty much evil to the core at this point...evil like Cancer Man in X-files evil. You may occasionally see a crack in the armor, but don't be fooled. The man is capable of the most heinous acts.

Locke just needs to get out from under what he perceives to be Ben's superior intellect and go back to his monk/hunter incarnation. Locke in season 1 was the quintessential leader Locke. But Ben has chipped and whittled that confidence away, and now Locke is mistakenly looking for a glint of approval or respect that he's doing the right thing from Ben, when he shouldn't be doing that at all. He should let Sayid get all marine with a puppy on a cliff with Ben and squeeze every answer he can, and then send him back to Jack so Ben can get in his head for a while and drool on Kate (that breakfast with her handcuffed and all prettied up in light of tonights episode...LOL. I bet he still has footage of Kate's shower.) And we know he's got Kate/Sawyer pron. Ben's got to go, but I don't think he will any time soon.

I feel now that everyone should have gone to team Jack, they're just cramping John's style. As soon as he felt that he had to play babysitter to a bunch of complacent suburbanites, he gave up his greater purpose. I would suggest that anyone who doesn't get Locke's manifesto simply rewatch season one and pay some attention to his level of comfort with his surroundings, near omniscient ability to save people, and really just all around asskickery. Also, I'm always puzzled how people think Locke is clueless since he has the ONLY understanding of the island. Everyone else seems to be thinking, "Wow, what a weird and strange place, let's make out with each other for a few seasons, then get the hell away from it." He may be out of place on an episode of The OC, but not here.

I havent seen a emotional deep eppisode from him in a very long time.

I thought "The Brig" last season had some pretty intense Sawyer moments. Even if it does seem like a looong time ago, it was recent, Island time.
