When Tom/Mr. Friendly was talking to Juliette as he walked her to Ben he said something about did she( the shrink) get you to talk about your daddy issues cuz she sure did with me


so now even the "others" have daddy issues??!!

Thought this warrented a bit of discussion.
One of my theories about the show is that every character has some sort of daddy issue (I'm gonna start a separate thread on that in theories)

Interesting to see Tom had daddy issues, disguised within what seemed like a throwaway line.
How many of the others do you reckon have "daddy issues" or something Ben has exploited to keep them there?

Interesting, when Tom spoke to Juliet about Harper and said, "She'll have you crying about your Daddy." Once again, the recurrent theme there... ya think?

It wouldn't surprise me if Juliet had a bad Daddy. She was married to a *donkey* and let him talk down to her. I know that girls who have bad daddies grow up and often fall for the wrong guy.

I wonder about Juliet's past though. Did she have family other than Rachel? What about friends? It is like she left for the island and nobody except her sister even noticed.

Yes, more daddy issues. I wonder what happened with Tom's dad? Did he have to kill him like Ben did?

Ladies with daddy issues also tend to go for older men too, maybe that was something Ben knew about Juliet and was hoping to exploit.
