Oh gosh, I just burst into laughter when I remembered this!

Locke put that grenade in Miles' mouth two episodes ago! Has Miles really just been sitting in that house with the grenade in his mouth for all this time? Or will we find that Miles has pulled an Arzt and gotten himself blown up?

Maybe we will get a flashback of Locke removing it and replacing it with a yummy bunny.

:24: I was wondering the same thing! Locke has had time to skin a rabbit and cook it since he put that grenade in Miles' mouth!

the last we saw of him, Locke had shoved a gernade into his mouth and walked out of the room.

no closure there? not a thing? hell even a faint explosion in the background as Claire talking to Locke about him would have been acceptable.

I bet he's still there chewing on that little breakfast prepared by Locke. We'll get to him soon, I'm sure.

My guess is that his jawed is pretty cramped by now. He'll prolly need a muscle relaxer if Locke ever takes back "breakfast"

We'll see him again. Maybe Locke killed him, or maybe he just took the grenade out of his mouth. I have no idea.

That would be hilarious  :

SFX: Boom in the distance.
CLAIRE: What was that?
LOCKE: I killed a rabbit.
(Cause they never answer questions when they're asked...ever notice that?)

Miles is probably still sucking grenade juice for breakfast.

(explosion in the background. both of them are quiet for a moment and Locke acts like nothing happened as Claire gawks at him)
Claire: Did you hear that?
Locke: Hear what?
Claire: That...explosion.
(Locke looks confused at her)
Locke: Claire you feeling all right?
Claire: I am fine! But I know you heard that. How could you not? It was so lou-
(Locke puts a gernade in her mouth and runs away)

Well, Locke has been feeding Ben, so I'm sure he's been feeding Miles too.

Locke would have had to have taken the grenade out of Miles's mouth eventually, so that Miles could eat. It probably happened offscreen, sometime between "Eggtown" and "The Constant."

Well let's hope so otherwise he's gonna have one very sore jaw! Although I don't mind so much as I'm not super-keen on Miles. Maybe this will chill him out a bit:p

This is what I was just wondering also, so I thought I'd do a quick search on it and found your thread. The reason I started thinking about it was because of reading a thread about Harper and how she may have come to get information from Ben to give to Juliet. I then realized that we haven't seen Miles for quite some time...... and that we last saw him with a GRENADE in his mouth. LOL

Anyway, I don't honestly think that he has gotten loose, received a message from Ben, and then delivered it to some random Other to give to Juliet... but I am curious!

Kate ran into Charlotte and Daniel after getting booted from Lockeville. Locke presumably put the grenade in Miles mouth the morning Kate left.

According to this show's timeline - Miles just had the grenade inserted into his mouth.

Although, I'm having trouble reconciling this with the timeline for the Des - Daniel freighter call from the Constant.

There's a moment in Ghostbusters just before the protection grid is shut down, where Egon makes a hand signal to Venkmann while mouthing the word "Boom", which sprang to mind when I read Tronny's post.

I love the idea of the "faint explosion" in the background. :24:

claire: maybe i should talk to him, youve been so hostile to him
locke: no i haven't

Umm Claire was thinking she should be the one to talk to Miles. Maybe this is how Aaron ends up with Kate, Claire fumbles while taking the grenade out of Miles mouth.

The minute I saw the title of this post I knew where you were going. I hadn't really thought about it, but that is funny. I can't imagine he would have lasted very long. I doubt we will ever really find out how long Locke left him there.

I think we'll find out that the grenade was a dummy the whole time. If Locke wanted Miles dead, he'd have killed him outright.

Of course! What other character would any of us want as badly to see blown up? "Miles" refers to how far away his body parts will be found.

Maybe Dharma had a armory. They had riffles to fend off the hostiles- they also probably had the gas that eventually was used to purge them,

Miles isn't chewing on a grenade anymore. How do you think Locke learned about the 3.2 million dollars? Locke's ploy worked and Miles spilt the beans.

Nope, Kate told Locke.

Miles is still teething that grenade, and will be. Locke is trying to prove a point to Miles, and that point is to shut the f--- up. There is a time to talk, there is a time to be a smartass and then there is a time to shut up, this is now that time.

Also. why would locke want him dead??? Remember he wants information about the frieghter peeps, wasnt that why he held Charlotte Hostage and eventually traded her for Miles???

it would be funny if we heard a quiet BOOM though!!!!
