Sun knows Hurley, so it should be a flash forward of 8 years.. and Jin could be re-married to someone else by then.. and only so for a couple of months. Maybe Mr. Paik told him he had to fake being dead to Sun for some reason.. so she really believes he is gone. He apparently still works for Mr. Paik. But, maybe he doesn't. Maybe now he is working for Ben too.. and is only saying that he works for Mr. Paik and does bad deeds.. getting the mobs after Paik. The Panda may have a bomb in it.

But this doesn't fit with Aaron who only aged about 2 years.

Excellent catch.. this is very telling. Don't know what it's telling, but telling just the same.

If Sun was 2 months pregnant on Dec. 24,04, she would have been due roughly at end of July, 2005. This card starts on October 15th 2005.. now we know that time does get distorted to some degree when people go off the island.. but how much hasn't been calculated for sure. (Some say it's years based on calculations done on Faraday's test.)

This could mean that Sun left the island alone, but Jin followed shortly afterwards using another method.

Also, does anyone know/remember exactly when Jin and Sun were married?

I still have a problem with the FF/ FB interpretation, because Jin's FB serves absolutely no purpose.. except to deceive us.. If Jin went further into time and was working for Ben undercover.. and for him it was 2012, it would be fine for him to be (re-) married by then... but this card cancels that date out too.

The other possibility it that what we saw was not a flashback, but time-travel back, when Jin was performing some kind of course correction.

One of the things that seemed more telling, is that Sun 'felt' Jin was alive. She even mistook another man for him at the hospital. She 'knows' he's dead, but 'feels' he's alive.. much like Rose did with Bernard.

I'm thinking these are just prop issues. I am buying the year 2000 flashback (the phone model is consistent with this and they did focus on the phone) and the Ji Yeon birthday flash forward. Sometimes even in LOST you have to keep it simple.

There is another screencapture on one of the threads that shows the taxi that Jin lost with the first panda bear still in it, had a license plate issued in 2004.

This has to be a FB because he is only married a couple of months...and he is still earning his keep by running "little" errands for Mr. Paik. Later he gets more involved in Mr. Paik's underground organization and that is why Jin wants to move to America and start over (remember he is haunted by "associates" that threaten him not to leave)...but Sun wants to go back to Korea to have to baby once she realizes she is preggo...right?

You are correct that is what the Clerk says, but it does not mean it has to be the year before the year of the dragon. I think that it takes place the same time as Sun's FF, regardless, still a FF.
