Just seems a little weird that Hurley is there (in Korea).....the dialogue about the baby's birth seems to indicate Jin was already dead when the baby was born...so it isn't his funeral....

Yes this is before Hurley is institutionalized, yes Jin was dead before the baby was born, no this was not a funeral it was a visit to Jin's grave.

Oddly enough one of my first thoughts after the end was "Why is Hurley in Korea?" My boyfriend's response "He's rich and the only cool one."

They ALL had Golden Tickets (Golden Passes? I forget), but I'm wondering why only Hurley showed up and why he was glad that no one else had. And what was the occasion for his visit? Simply to meet Ji Yeon and accompany Sun to the grave site?

They didn't clearly show Sun was in Korea. Although the operator, doctor, and nurse all spoke Korean. It could've just been a coincidence. ;)

Someone probably already said this, but I think he went over there either right before his FF, or some time after. They are time jumping between the FFs. Like Hurley's FF was obviously before Jack's in the finale, and so was Kates...I think Sun's is before Hurley's.

Yes -- although I don't remember anything in Sayid's FF to place it in relation to the others. This is what I hoped they would do with the FFs, so that the FFs move back in time, and the main narrative moves forward in time until they both converge in the finale on the moment they get off the island. Very cool.

i thought it was great that Hurley showed up for Sun, and then odd that he seemed relieved/happy that no one else came. Anyone else find this odd, or am i way off?

Also, didn't we see Hurley on Korean TV during a Sun/Jin flashback in Season One? Maybe he already had/has ties to Korea, and that's why he came to see Sun?

Actually, I would say a few weeks old.

Because this took place BEFORE Hurley went to Santa Rosa. All the Flashfowards are been out of order, it most likely goes like this....

Sun
Kate
Hurley (it's possible Kate an Hurley's time's are switched)
Jack

and Sayid is somewhere in there, he's really the only one I can't place.

It feels like there is a lot of tension between the O6, it would be a shame to see Hurlely succumb to that.

Jin died on Sept 2004, so the baby had to have been concieved before then. This means this flashfoward takes place in 2005. Jack's was around April 2007, so Hurleys', Sayids and Kates all took place in between.

Now if the flashfowards are being shown in backwards order, this makes me ponder. If Aaron in Kate's flashback is about 2 then Eggtown is set in late 2006, early 2007 depending on when Aaron was supposed to be born. Does this mean that Sayids and Hurleys are set around then too?

If so, then there could be a full year or more between Suns ff and Hurleys....
