I'm almost positive it was Expose, the scene with Nikki and Billy Dee Williams.

Probably doesn't mean anything, but Nikki is on the TV as Sun goes into labor.

I didn't see it. Anyone have a screencap?

I'm surprised they'd want to remind us of that too!

Syndicated shows make big bucks, espicially when the main star died in a plane crash!

I heard the tacky soundtrack and knew it had to be Expose. Horowitz and Kitsis also wrote the episode "Expose" and this one as well so I assume it was just an inside joke.

Just incredible. They never waste a chance to bring it all together. Fate, Karma, Jacob, whatever is driving the Deus Ex Machina that is this show's plot, I'm digging it, big time. I loved on the commentary for "Expose" the writers admit that they would take a break from the intense LOST writing by plotting out an entire season of the show, making up entire episodes. This will not the the last appearance of "Expose". Nice catch all of you that noticed. I will look more closely and maybe fewer bong hits.

I think the scene they show on the tv look just like a scene from "The Long Con" . I thought Sawyer had a ponytail like that and the briefcase and money just seemed all too familiar. Any thoughts?

I noticed it right off. After the show I forgot about it and tried to go to bed as i have to work tomorrow. It's around 4am for me and here I am thinking about Lost and tonight's episode and suddenly I remember about seeing Expose on Sun's tv. Excitedly I got up and logged onto the computer hoping that maybe I could be the first person to spot this and post on it. I guess I'm just a little too late huh?

This might actually be the Korean premiere of the episode.

Keep in mind that Nikki only finished shooting the episode a few days prior to the crash of Flight 815. Post production takes a few weeks at least. And following Zukerman's death, the episode may have been held off for a while longer too.

International broadcasts sometimes take even more time. So it's quite possible that Sun was watching the Korean premiere of the season 4 finale of "Exposé" about ten months after the final scene was filmed.

i intially thought it was a nod to Sawyer in that a gentleman was holding a briefcase of money (a long con/jins death)

ROFL!

Good catch! Just another Easteregg to watch for on this episode. This show has a few. This stuff is what makes this show so great. Was Sun perhaps longing to see familiar faces?

Why would that puzzle you? She loved her husband and he died. Lots of people keep wedding/engagement rings on for months or even years after a breakup or death. It's not weird or anything. It's sweet and sad.

Oh I agree. I was just thinking along the lines that she was already remarried or something? :drowsy: It was a flash forward.

Oh, ok. Anyway, I'm convinced the ring was from her marriage to Jin.

I was hoping it'd be that. In fact I'd been hoping we'd get more exposure of Expose that way, so it would be to Lost as Invitation to Love was to Twin Peaks.

I'm not surprised that they reminded us of Expose. Much of this season seems to be an echo of that episode.

ok so it was Expose? But why?

Watch again? Notice anything?

So what was the reason for showing this? They had to have a reason to bring up this seemingly insignifigant episode again.

They just love their Easter eggs. There was a Korean tv reporting that Hurley had won the lottery in one of the Sun/Jin centrics, and that had no purpose except for a wind and nod at the viewers who caught it.

Strange thing happened when I tried to post the link to the exact post. It sent me to the spoiler page. I guess I should say don't look if you don't want to be spoiled, but it was pure speculation on my part when I posted it & didn't include the spoiler thingy because heck I don't "know" anything :) but why would it do that?
