...dumb question? Perhaps...since Sun is STILL pregnant at the beginning of the FF...it can be automatically assumed that this has to be the first on the timeline.... it's only been about 7 months since she had been on the island...

I think it's concurrent to Kate's trial. That would explain their absense. Darlton mentioned that leaving the Island has an effect of growth, so Kate's trial could have been 7 months after the rescue, despite Aaron's apparent age.

If anything, its prior to Hurley's Charlie sighting.

So, I would put it:

1 Sun
2 Kate
3 Hurley
4 Sayid
5 Jack

I agree with you and I have a theory that all of the fast forwards have been presented in descending chronological order. So considering the time line from closest to their time on the island to longest time away from the island:

1. Sun (most recently aired)
2. Kate
3. Sayid
4. Hurley
5. Jack (first aired)

Sayid's flash forward is the hardest to place, but since all the others seem to go in reverse order of being aired, I will stick with this order until a flash forward comes along that clearly breaks this pattern.

Sun is first, Kate could be concurrent with or later.

I put Hurley's sooner than Sayid's with the understanding that Sayid's could also be concurrent with all of them, we don't know when he started his assassin gig.

Finally, crazy bearded alcoholic drug addicted gotta go back Jack.

So Jack's is the fartherest out we've been.

I put them in reverse order of appearance, basically.

I also think we will go no farther out than crazy bearded alcoholic drug addicted Jack unless its necessary to show us how to get them back, which it probably will be.

I also think we're done with flash forwards for quite awhile.
