It's been said before but I think Sayid was the best person to send to the freighter. I think anyone else would've shown a look of shock upon seeing Michael when Sayid showed no expression whatsoever. I think some of the other characters would've gotten angry and pounded on doors and screamed and yelled at their treatment by the freighties(Jack), Sayid was incredibly calm. I loved that his foot was proped on the desk and his only complaint was that the food left much to be desired. The only time he got angry was when he saw the helicopter gone but he controlled himself. I think Sayid has one advantage on the freghties they don't know how dangerous he can be or that a few days before he killed ten people. If the situation turns violent, and I think inevitably it will, he can handle himself.

Totally agree. Sayid is a badass. Too bad he ends up working for Ben...unless he already is!

Totally agreed. I thought the same thing - good thing it was him on that ship when Michael came around, because he took the lead in keeping the cover going, when other characters would have been like, "Michael?" Sayid's a sharp one... he's ALWAYS the best one to send somewhere.

I have always loved Sayid. People say that Mikhail was a badass, but Sayid is #1 in my book.

Who would have thought that an Iraqi would end up as one of the most respected (and trusted) characters in an American drama show.

Sayid really is the man. Everyone else would've had a disgusted look on their face (Kate), broke a door (Jack), mouth agape (Hurley)...but Sayid, the man plays it cooollll.

I totally agree. He maybe hesitated a second, but he played it really cool!

I always had a high respect for his common sense. He is the only reasonable lostie around.
