Aside from the cut on her eye, I can't remember Juliet having those marks on her face, especially the one on her cheek.

Were they there before?

Probably from the fight at the TEMPEST last week. Didn't quite get the brusing around the neck, though.

whoever is in charge of continuity on the show messed up with juliet's makeup. one minute she has a small wound on her upper lip and in the next scene it's this big black thing. i know it's petty... but it was VERY obvious.

Funny you should mention that. I remember a little roughing up at the tempest station but she seriously lookes like she got whipped

The wound that I noticed most, which was not there last week, was the cut or bruise on her lower lip. No one had a lip bruise in last week's kissing scene. Would Jack really have wanted to kiss her with that thing on her lip? It looks contagious!

whoever is in charge of continuity on the show...

OMG! Someone is in charge of continuity?

I find this funny cause I can hardly watch the show with my wife anymore. She is constantly picking out errors in makeup, hair and camera angles.

Juliet did looked super bruised up. Funny her shoulder seemed ok after getting hit with a pipe.

Season 2 had the worst continuity errors thus far. They were staggering. I specifically remember when Michael knocks Locke out, leaves him in the hatch, and rushes to the computer to tell Walt he's coming for him, then hears Jack calling for Locke, at which point he surprises him at gunpoint.

However, TPTB had completely forgotten that when that scene originally happened from Jack's perspective, he called for Locke, checking the computer room. The camera even focused on this, showing that no one was at the computer.

All they had to do was watch the original scene over again. Once. There are a few more things in Season 2 like this, but I can't remember the rest. It was awhile ago! But I remember losing a LOT of faith in the show. Then Michael shot Ana and Libby, and I decided to stick with it :)

ANYWAY

My point is, an inconsistency in Juliet's bruising shouldn't bug ya too much

Maybe Juliette is just slow to bruise. It couldn't possibly be a conformity error! :rolleye1:

Bruising can take a while to appear.
Swelling doesn't start right away.
I had a bad fall with my bike with much bruising everywhere,
even on my face and it looked way worse several days after
than just after it happened.

I didn't notice anything off. She had the eye cut last week and the busted lip. It's really obvious when she and Jack were talking and why I thought he was gentle when he kissed her. It looked painful. The pipe hit her in the ribs. The neck and shoulder bruising was from being hit when she was on the ground but I don't remember what with. I just remember the hit. She took a couple of face hits too which are what I attributed the blue cheek too. It was already red when Jack was checking her face last week. I actually thought they did a pretty good job with her makeup matching the hits she took.

Well, all I know is that roundhouse slap to the kisser by Sun sure ain't gonna make any improvements to Juliet's face!

Have you ever noticed that movie and tv slaps to the face always cause the head to whip around quite sharply....while IRL a slap to the face really doesn't cause that much of a head spin....at least not when I"VE slapped people around. :p

Maybe I need to work on my delivery.
