Danielle says that she was 7 months pregnant when her ship wrecked on the island. She also says to Ben that Alex is not his daughter. We'd need to ignore or discount both those facts to conclude Alex is Ben & Danielle's biological daughter and a successul island pregnancy.

OK, now I feel stupid. I didn't know that Danielle arrived pregnant. Thanks for letting me know.

I thought Juliet said that the problem is believed to be at conception. I didn't think that leaving the island would help if you conceived on-island. Guess it's ok now.
