I have placed Sayid before Jack's FF for a few reasons. Sayid probably spent some time looking for Nadia before going to work for Ben. Jack's FF seems to be occur last because we have seen him earlier and he was fine, so I think that his FF may be the last one before they go back to the island.

Any thoughts?

I would put kate's trial right after Sun's baby and before Hurley goes wacko. I've got a strange confidence that we were shown the FF in reverse order.

I think that Aaron's age throws me off. We know that the crash is in 2004 and that the phone that Jack uses in his FF was a 2007 model phone. Assuming that it is somewhere in early 2005 when they are rescued, it has to be very soon otherwise Sun would have died, there is no way that Kate's trial could have been an earlier that 2006. Aaron is definitely well over a year at the time of the trial.

...about kate's aaron...he's at least 3 years old but to me he looks 4 years old. I have a 2.5 year old. Not only that but if I remember correctly, when kate & her mother were talking in the judge's quarters (?), kate's mom said somthing like "...and during those (four) years I thought you were dead..." or something to that effect...

...my guess is that the 1st hurley FFs we saw happened way after sun's FF because obviously it only takes 9 months to have a child so I would figure that hurley goes berzerker later in the show...

...and remember in hurley's FF jack (somewhat clean shaven) visits hurley and says "...I'm thinking about growing a beard..." when we had seen him with a pretty large beard. I grow my beard out (as much as i can stand, which is only about a week or so) and I know for a fact to grow a beard like that it would take at least 2-3 months...maybe more...

...sayid's FFs are somewhere after the so-called "rescue" of the O-6...since he is a highly sought after individual 'cause he knows about the "Island's" secret's and location...and not to mention that he is working with/for ben as "Bait" for the Widmore clan and executing those who want ben and the "Island"...

...the "Freighter's" FFs are all around the exact time period since the biggest news on the TV, Radio and Print is the discovery of O-815...

...juliet's FB's happened around the time of O-815 crash and shortly after...

...desmond's anomoly is the only one that has me raising my eyebrow...why?...because now after all that rigamaroo he seems to be "better" now because mikowski said "...it happens sooner..." before he croked and after desmond called penny all of a sudden he's all better...hmmmm...

...I wonder if we are going to see any more locke FFs/FBs?..those would be interesting....

Why wouldnt they show us the FFs in reverse order? Heck, they're FFs! Nobody expected to see them, so now that we are getting 'used' to them and expecting them - what a great way to throw us off the scent.

Every time I watch S3 finale (which, sadly, has been multiplexxx times) I get the feeling Jack's final FF will be the season opener for S5 or S6.

They (TPTB) love to full circle moment on this show and what a wonderful full circle that would be!

I'm wondering if, now that the O6 are revealed, the characters that remained on the island will get FFs.. that would be interesting...

my dad has this theory that kate and jack go back and die there and somehow through all the time stuff end up being the "Adam and Eve" they found in the caves back in season one. I'm not sure how that works.. but it's pretty interesting.

I agree with Molly1977,...I too think the FF's are being shown to us in reverse,...so are they still technically FF's, or are they FB's from another perspective? hmmm...

I agree with everything except that we haven't seen Sayid looking for Nadia. I think we'll see that in some future episode. I think that it probably did happened, we just haven't seen it yet.

Beards differ from man to man. My husband can have a fuller beard than Jack had in TTLG in less than 2 weeks. Our son is lucky to have barely visible growth in the same amount of time.

Since TPTB have said that this entire season is supposed to lead us up to Jack's FF, then I think that all the other FF must precede his.

I've pretty much subscribed to the "reverse flash forward" theory. It makes a lot of sense, and it gives us perspective on where the story is heading for the rest of this season, which would be the moment the O6 get rescued.

Reasoning...Jack was clean-shaven at kate's trial and in Hurley's FF, he was sporting the start of a beard. He also mixed vodka with his MORNING OJ!! Jack was put-together during Kate's trial. He is starting to show the signs of wear and tear in Hurley's FF.

I think you've got it, although Sayid's could easily fit anywhere.... if the FFs are really being shown in reverse order, that would put Sayid's activities right before Jack and Hurley's FF:

So the FFs are not completely being shown in reverse order, but within one person's own story, they are. So Sayid's FFs are in reverse. Jack's FFs are in reverse. The Sayid FF story and the Jack FF story are not in sync in reverse.... make sense? Hence why it is a little difficult to put ALL of the FFs in order.

Kate's trial probably took some time so it could have started very soon after the rescue before Sun have the baby for the rest I agree on what the timeline most likely is.
