Locke likes bad music?
I dunno
I didn't get a good look at the comic cause the stupid local tv station here had a giant weather alert thing taking up half the screen

Probably only notable for the story titles on cover:

"What Was the Secret of the Mysterious Hidden Land?"

and

"Does It Pay To Ignore the Voice of Warning?"

(Though, on the other hand -- anyone think the man on the cover looks like Jack? Or Christian? Or SOMEBODY?!?)

John's Locker had a nice poster of Geronimo Jackson in it. I'm still waiting for the HD version to download, to get a better look, as I want to see how much that bass player looks like Charlie. "Geronimo" is the translation of Charlie's middle name, Hieronymus, which means "sacred name."

Also, above the Geronimo Jackson poster was an old black-and-white photo, looks to be 19th century, but no one I can recognize for sure. He does look a bit like he could be Buffalo Bill, which would make sense -- the ultimate hunter. Anyone have a screen cap or an alternate identification?

I thought the image on the comic book was also very interesting. There was a city floating in the clouds over another city. Also it appeared to me that the man was looking out the window of an air plane.

Well, unless he's got his thumb tucked in a strange position...he's only got 4 fingers.

Doesn't look like an airplane window to me, too big. But definitely not a home or apt. Perhaps a boat.

On Geronimo Jackson: In a season 3, John Locke-centered episode, an FBI agent infiltrates John's commune. The agent wears a Geronimo Jackson T-shirt.

Did anyone else notice the Geronimo Jackson Magna Carta album cover ((or copy of it) in Locke's locker after he got out ? Wonder if it has any insight or just the writers having some fun.

Maybe Geronimo Jackson is Jacob ... (joking)

no, but word does have it that the dead guy in locke's dream, goodspeed, was in the band and on the cover of the album, as is his wife we didn't see last night. that is the connection.

Remember that Charlies' middle name, as shown in FBYE, is Hieronymus (meaning "sacred name" in Ancient Greek), a variation of Geronimo. Whats' more, Dr. Thomas Galen Hieronymus patented a pseudoscientific machine operating on the real and psychic world.

Sir Richard Francis Burton, 1821-1890, master of 29 different European, Asian, and African languages, including pornography. Translator of the Kama Sutra and The Thousand and One Nights, discoverer of Lake Tanganyika, all-around explorer and hunter. Just the kind of guy Locke would idolize.

Also, the protagonist of the Riverworld series of books by Philip Jose Farmer, and acknowledged major influence on Lost.

I'm wondering if Locke is time jumping .What if that album was placed in the hatch by Locke. What I'm wondering is if Locke was an inhabitant of the hatch at some earlier time but just does'nt remember. After seeing that picture he drew as a child of Smokey it got me wondering.Thoughts?

At first I thought the poster in Locke's locker was a grateful dead poster. It has the similar psychedelic patterns, and when you consider the fact that he lived on a weed compound, I think what the writers are trying to say is clear: Locke is a Deadhead! Does that mean that he is actually dead? No, it just means he needs to trip out in a sweatlodge in order to save the world.

When you think about, Locke has had an affinity for psychedelics and the experiences they produce...
