After watching Cabin Fever I definitely get the feeling that there are super characters that are more closely tied to the island and are all working towards some goal we don't know.
These super characters are more important than Jack, Kate, Sawyer who are merely pawns in the larger game/mythology of the island.
Some of these super characters would include Abbadon, Richard, Mrs. Hawking, Christian, Claire's pyschic, Jacob And the two men Ben and Widmore are the masterminds playing a huge game with high stakes.
Locke feels like he is the next one in line to be a "super character."

Anyway I guess i just want to hear you people's thoughts on the emergence of this island elite?
