So why "fever"? Do you think this has anything to do with the sickness? Horace had the tell-tale bloody nose. Any thoughts?

"Cabin Fever" is just a common saying, that's all. It was a way to use a catchy title with the right word in it.

Horace's bloody nose was related to his death by the gas, not the sickness.

I have the fever for the flavor of new Pringles. Oh, and cabins on Lost.

I don't know. The saying "cabin fever" is used when someone has been cooped up for too long and can start to lose it. I live near a ski resort and people still say it when we've had bad weather that keeps us in far longer than we would like. There are many old "tales", some of them undoubtedly true, of settlers going crazy while snowed in for long periods of time without other human contact. ( I have a degree in American Studies so I'm not just pulling this out of my butt).

The ship has cabins and there have been plenty of crazy happenings on board. The titles usually mean something and I think this one does, too.

I think you're right, LiC. I think it means that Locke's been in a "fever" to find the cabin. Maybe Jacob's developed a case of actual cabin fever and has brought Claire in for company. It definitely applied to the ship.

Yeah, cabin fever seems to describe John's fever to find the cabin and possibly also encapsulates the sickness storyline... and maybe Jack to... he still looks a bit feverish to me.

All I know is that I've got a fever! And the only prescription is more cowbell! And more Lost... much more Lost!

The titles always mean something. In this episode I think it referred to the feverish search for Jacob's cabin. On the freighter it was mentioned by Gualt that since Keamy left, Regina threw herself overboard, possibly due to the sickness (which he originally thought was cabin fever), and was concerned that Keamy's crazy behavior had something to do with the sickness. Keamy was going a little stir crazy with his killing spree.
