Locke: And just how are you going to take care of that?
Ben: Look fool, I'm superbad...(<>..<>)
If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch Locke puppy...LOL (<>..<>)

Yeah, Ben was pretty badass. I don't understand his lines of how his "time is over" and it's Locke's turn. Locke hasn't done sh*t this season hah

Can't you smell the "long con" Ben's running on Locke? I think it could be true. Hercules and Atlas man, Hercules and Atlas...As far as Ben getting "captured", well let's just say Ben has a knack for "Ben's exactly where Ben wants to be..." (<>..<>)

I laughed at that moment of the show too. The expression on Ben's face was just priceless. I was waiting for him to say "Have you never actually watched an episode of LOST, John? I have it covered."

And the deal with Ben's baton was good too: "Here junior, hold this until I get back-try not to hurt yourself with it". Of course, the extending baton was the only way they could work a "lightsaber" up into the show, ehhh? Ben = Jedi might be the parallel they want us to draw from that one maybe...(<>..<>)

How do you think the merc insertion would have gone down if Locke hadn't wrangled info from Miles and struck a deal with Ben? Meanwhile it was Ben who essentially sent Karl, Alex and Rousseau to their deaths, intentionally or not.

Locke has been amazing this season and we haven't even seen the best of what he's going to do yet. He's the one with the mission and the Island's blessing. Ben is just milking whatever smug sense of superiority he has left with the remaining things that John doesn't know about the Island.

Right now, Ben is acting like that kid who owns a video game and invites you over to play it, but then acts self-righteous because he knows so much more about it than you do, which is only because he's the one who happens to own it. It doesn't make him a better gamer, it just means he started playing before you.

Sorry, but I can't trust Locke because he's too easily manipulated and "amenable to coercion". To sum it up: When I think of Locke, the overriding image is him with eyes wide shouting "I was wrong, I was wrong" right before he caused the Swan to blow...bout sums it up for me...(<>..<>)

Yeah, Ben IS SuperBad***. I especially like the way he got that fine little daughter of his wacked. John Locke couldn't have screwed that one up any better himself.

I never thought of Ben's Baton being a Lost version of a Lightsaber:biggrin: Another Star Wars reference maybe??? Love it!

I doubt there's ever been a jedi in any of the star wars films or spin-offs as devious as Mr Linus (Sith maybe!)! I share the distinct feeling that under the current circumstances he's once again exactly where he wants to be & that he's again duped Locke into doing what he wants him to do, it's just convenient that it matches with what "the island" wants.
