Does anyone have a screencap of that picture from the Oceanic conference of O6 with the islanders? Jack seemed to be disturbed by the photo like it was doctored.

It looked super strange when I first saw it too. I'm interested in screencaps and transcript of the maps/locations. I couldn't keep it all straight in order to piece together whose versin of what corresponds with what -- where the fans think the island is, where the Find815 ARG said the plane was, where Lapidus thought the plane was.... I just cannot keep track anymore!

Looking at those maps, does any of it even seem plausible? It's interesting how skeptical the journalists were. I would have thought they'd just eat up the story, but I guess not?

The symbol of the Orchid that is in Daniel's book look like a whirlpool or the start of some type of wormhole with a fish tail in the middle, very odd

Don't know about anyone else but that suspiciously looks like a Dharma logo on the woman on the extreme right... probably just a smudge of dirt though

Do you think the sequence of events was "fluid"? What I mean is from what we are seeing now from last night's episode to what ostensibly will be the O6's appearance on that beach, there isn't going to be too much downtime in between all the action. With all the running around and trying to escape the island, I can only think of the time spent on the raft as the only time for the O6 to really catch their breath and probably formulate their cover story.

So what am I leading up to? When did Jack have time to change his appendectomy-bloodied dark t-shirt for a brownish looking button-down shirt?

I don't think the 06 come up with a cover story. I think they are told point blank what they can and can not say.
I don't think during their escape they are coming up with ways to hide the truth. Why? They would want everyone left on the island saved. They would want the people who put them threw this ordeal caught.
I think we will find at some point they are given the choice. Either keep quiet and live or die right now.
It may happen when help arrives at the island they come a shore on.
In the picture Hurely looks like he is smiling. Before he realizes their is a heavey price to pay.

Hurly looks really happy. Why didnt he fell bad for the ones left behind? He (and all of them) looked really really sad on that plane that took them back home. So I assume something else happened between tjhe time this picture was taken and when they board that plane....

"We were on this island for 108 days, see, but it's not there any more. It vanished as we left. By the way, there were thirty or forty other people on that island. We have no idea what happened to them..."

At best, people would think they were loony. At worst, perhaps murderers.

Agreed. I think right before the island disappeared that in order to save the lives of who were left, they needed to use this story.... But what about the Oceanic Air person and map slide where they identify the island and describe it. It's like they have seen it. Now since Oceanic could be in on (and maybe behind) the whole thing, they can be the ones whole developed the story...

First thing I noticed was that their clothes were different (except for Hurley's). Maybe they got their stories and the change of clothes before "washing up" with the Islanders.

I've heard people raising suspicions about the Asian guy in the hat (rescue pic) being Jin.

Does it make sense? (Pro: Jack looking freaked plus a cut to Sun immediately after the images were shown)

Maybe he thought because they were off, they could go back and get the others straight away but Oceanic told them 'no way' before he boarded that cargo plane.

And where are Sun and Aaron? Taking the picture? :biggrin: (I think Sun is in front of Sayid actually, there's an extra leg).
