Both characters and both actors rocked it tonight!
The majority of fans - like me - enjoy and pull for both.

Jack and Sawyer were muttering and sputtering under their breath but put aside their differences.
It'd be nice if forum posters would do the same, for a few weeks.

I'm whistling in the wind, I know. I love watching the two of them together. It was my favorite part of this episode. But even while I was watching it, I was dreading the bickering that would go on here.

Yeah, I said to the person I was watching with, "Aw, I miss seeing Jack and Sawyer together."

I'm with you. Jack hater though I am I thought it was very cool to see them team up one last time (?) in the finale. So proud of Sawyer for his "You don't get to die alone" line.

If tptb ends the series with those two and that line, I'll be a happy camper. It was one of the best lines ever, and it was about both of them...

This was the first time these two have been in a scene together since the first episode, right? Seriously, that's kind of lame. I've always loved their scenes together and was happy there was a little Jack/Sawyer action going on tonight. ;)

I thought it was great to see Kate's guys going off to save the world together!

I'm with you on that. I thought was a PERFECT line. I swear, Josh Holloway better be nominated for an Emmy for this episode. The look on his face when he saw Jack and Kate as well as when he took that longer look at Kate before walking over to her conveyed sooooo much.

And Matthew Fox ... I have to say, I've long been on the fence about Jack, but I can't deny that Foxy has skill. He makes love AND hate Jack.

Was anyone else worried when they said Josh would be on Jimmy Kimmel later? I immediately started saying, "NO!! NO!!!" I figured it was the goodbye guest appearance. Woooo. Dodged THAT bullet!!

Ditto on that. I just wish we had more interactions between these two instead of all the triangle nonsense.

Sawyer's line was one of the best of the episode, although ya gotta love Hurley's mom saying, "Jesus Christ is not a weapon." LOL!!

I was glad to see that Sawyer took his heroic streak to a new level. Jack seemed to work better with someone with him instead of going alone on some unplanned rampage.
