Ok, so after watching tonight's show and thinking about the whole moving the island, I think they are actually rotating the island but they are moving the island to a random spot in the world. Such a random spot that Ben knows Widmore can't find it as he states in a previous episode, that Jack can't find it as he flies back and forth with his golden pass. He knows his only chance of finding the island would be to crash and by chance land on it. You see, I think that just as the Oceanic Six leave the island, before the rest can get off, Ben triggers the island move and the island is hidden from the world once again.

A moving island would also help explain why random things are on the island such as polar bears, the Black Rock, and much more. Sorry for all of the random thoughts here, i just think this "moving" the island helps a lot of the questions that we have be answered.

That is along the lines of what I was thinking too. Now the island they said they washed up on is nowhere near where they supposedly crashed too. Could it be the "island" drops them off at that spot and then disappears? I say this because Hurley tells Ben and Locke that he still wants to get off. Maybe Ben lets him and whoever else wants off to leave the island because of Locke,

I absolutely agree! I think that's also why Sayid was so surprised that Ben had traveled off the island in the FF when he recruits him to start killing...

Ben said he sailed Desmond's boat to Fiji, right? Wouldn't that imply that wherever he moved the island to is still somewhat near Fiji, at least as far as Sayid knows?
