When Karen Decker leaves the cockpit to address the O6, it looks like she nods and smiles to someone sitting on the right side of the plane before she gets to the back where our LOSTIES are seated. Did it appear like that to anyone else?

Gonna have to watch again, but I'd swear she was giving a polite nod to the Losties.
I'm just glad she didn't have that silly earring or the nose ridge she had on ST:TNG.

When the cargo door opens and the 6 are stepping off and there is a coast guard officer standing to our left (Losties right).. Looks like he is operating the door and making sure they get off ok. Mystery solved. lol

I noticed something else as well from that scene. When it opens you see the pilots in the cockpit and one of them has a rabbits' foot (I think Hurley and Lepoedas *sp? both had one btw) , and the one pilot tells the other 'Put that thing away, you're freakin me out,'
to which he replies something like ,'with that cargo back there we need all the luck we can get,'
Are we supposed to believe 'that cargo' just means the losties? That they're dangerous or bad luck or something? No way, I don't buy it. There's something, or someone on that plane thats not quite kosher

Yes, Noticed the rabbit foot also. I's made more than one appearance.

it's the comment about "the cargo". Why does it scare the pilot?? "It" can't just be the losties! It has to be something/someone else
...but hardly anyone seems to care.

I thought it very interesting and obviously the crew knows something odd is going on.
Also in "Eggtown" both the Lawyer's knew something interesting about Kate.
Melissa: My key witness spoke to her daughter yesterday and now she's got cold feet.
Duncan: Quit posturing, and let's get to it. What are you offering?
Melissa: 4 years in.
Duncan: No jail time. Kate Austen is a worldwide hero who saved 5 other people's lives after a plane crash, and nearly starved to death on a deserted island. And after all that, you put this woman on trial for rescuing her mother from an abusive husband. If you think that jury is gonna give her time, then you must have a hell of a closing, Melissa.
Melissa: Alright. Time served plus 10 year's probation in agreement that she does not leave the state.
Duncan: What does that matter? She can go anywhere she...
Kate: No, I'll take it.
Duncan: No, wait, Kate...
Kate: Give me something to sign and I'll sign it. And then I walk out the back door. I just...I just want this to be over.
Melissa: I can do that. 10 years probation, and you stay put.
Kate: I have a child. I'm not going anywhere.
