did anyone else notice how sawyer called the barracks, "new otherton"? i can't remember anyone else calling it that in the show up to this point. maybe they are taking stuff from the forums...

lol I asked my sister that as well, I'm not sure it's ever been called that on the show but if not it's nice for the obsessed fans to get another nod. :)

It was definitely a nod to the fans.

kinda like how the Season 2 DVD refers to the Tailies as the Tailies

I think the producers were the 1st ones to call it that in a podcast, but either way it was a nice nod to the fans.

Well, yes... In the DVD set of Season Three, they mention that the writers had taken to calling the Others' barracks "New Otherton" *chuckle*. Personally, I had previously always referred to it as "The Villas at Other Landing" *LOL*!!! Anyway, yes, I believe last night was the first time a character ever referred to "New Otherton" and trust Sawyer to be the one in the story to coin that phrase *tee HEEEE*! He always has the perfect nickname for any and every person, place or thing. Sawyer ruled in this episode, btw. But I digress. I like how "New Otherton" is now in the story itself as yet another classic Sawyerism!
