this is what i jsut found about jermey
Jeremy Bentham (IPA: ['benθəm] or ['bentəm]) (15 February 1748–6 June 1832) was an English jurist, philosopher, and legal and social reformer. He was a political radical, and a leading theorist in Anglo-American philosophy of law. He is best known for his advocacy of utilitarianism, for the concept of animal rights,[1][2] and his opposition to the idea of natural rights, with his oft-quoted statement that the idea of such rights is "nonsense upon stilts."[3] He also influenced the development of welfarism.[4]

He became known as one of the most influential of the utilitarians, through his own work and that of his students. These included his secretary and collaborator on the utilitarian school of philosophy, James Mill; James Mill's son John Stuart Mill; and several political leaders including Robert Owen, who later became a founder of socialism. He is also considered the godfather of University College London.

Bentham's position included arguments in favour of individual and economic freedom, the separation of church and state, freedom of expression, equal rights for women, the end of slavery, the abolition of physical punishment (including that of children), the right to divorce, free trade, usury,[5] and the decriminalization of homosexuality.[6][7]

Oh, picking up from last season's finale. Jeremy Bentham was the person in the box? Who was Jeremy? Did we know him or did I forget? They've been off the island for 3 years!

I think this is a fake name for someone that has been on the island...probably someone from flight 815 who also got off the island at some point but is not listed as a survivor or part of the Ocenic 6 and since Sayid said there was no way no one else survived this person has to have a fake name....I think I know who it is...but not sure how to post things in a spoiler format in case I am right

Hmm....was that a weird exchange between Michael and Sun about her being pregnant? Remember their "relationship" in an earlier season when Jin was so jealous of Michael? Could they have slept together?

I don't think he was dead, that looked like a bullet-proof vest. He may have been faking. BUT, if he is dead, it might still be pressed by accident. Hopefully no wild animals come around and chomp on that arm. haha.

That wasn't a bulletproof vest he had on..it was just an LBV (light-weight ballist vest) it's what the military uses to carry items on your person and can be customized

My friend just came up with the theory that this pod is the "Box" that Ben mentioned a while back that can manifest what you want...like how Locke's dad got to the island and maybe why Christian is still alive on the island since we all know that he was dead dead when the plane crashed...it does deal with time travel in a singular point in space

Now I am curious about something though...with all this time traveling stuff...is it possible to travel back to keep Boone and Shannon from dying and maybe that is why Jack mentioned Boone's name during the press conference....Just a thought....but Damon and Carlton have said that season 5 is about why they need to get back to the island and season 6 will be about what happens when they get back...put that together with the time travel and I guess you can have a lot of possibilities :undecide:
