I'll go you one better .......

Just as Sayid shoots the guy sitting outside Hurley's mental hospital, the video here froze and all we could hear was the audio ..... for TWENTY-TWO MINUTES (possibly 23, who knows with those freaky numbers :p)

We missed Sayid's talk with Hurley, ALL the action of the freighter's last minutes, the big explosion, the confrontation between Sun & Jack, Sawyer's return to the island, and Sun's meeting with Widmore. :complain: :mad2:

We were watching a local station broadcasting out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana on regular cable so basically everyone in this area would have been watching the same frozen screen. I can only imagine the hell that station is going to receive....

I was having problems with DirectTV all night, only getting about 2 of my usual 14 local stations. Thank god ABC was one I was getting - I would have freaked out if LOST was interrupted. But I was sad I missed SYTYCD. I'm sure DirectTV will be getting a lot of angry customer calls too.

I thought I was alone in this. I came home and turned on the Tivo for the repeat, and went ups stairs. After a few minutes I thought, That's weird I don't hear any noise from the TV. I turned on the TV upstairs and it was blank also. Every channel was fine accept ABC. I Thought this must be some cruel joke. I called the cable company, and they said that because it was just one channel that was out they would have to send someone out in 2 to 3 days. And I lost it (sorry phone bank person), Like I was going to take a day off from work so a workman could come to my house just to call them and tell them to send the restart signal, all so i can get one channel that I don't need till January. I told them to send the signal, and she argued that, that was not the procedure. But I convinced her, The box shut down, then came back up and ABC was back. Thank the island.

Interesting... I noticed that the audio didn't quite match the video at points... it was a couple seconds off which irked me from time to time.....

When I read the title, I figured that's what this post was regarding... but... damn... sounds like yall had some much worse technical problems.
