You know, all the nameless survivors. Didn't Faraday already come back with a whole group? I didn't see any of 'em near the helicopter when they were frantically trying to get it back in the air.

They were all there running around the deck in their bright orange life vests like chickens with their heads cut off.

Yeah, there did seem to be a bunch milling around on deck in lifejackets. But none got into the plane. Maybe they jumped (with Jin of course!) into the water. Or they all just got blown up?

There are still some more nameless extras on the beach with Juliet though and another 5 or so with Dan in the Zodiac, right?

Ah. I guess I missed 'em all running around. Kind of strange that there was no debate as to who gets on the chopper, though. I'd think they'd be a bit more assertive on that point.

I wondered that, too. Maybe they were below, having lunch? :P

Agreed. Obviously it made sense from our point of view, knowing about the O6. But in reality, if there was a group of people stranded on an island for 100 days and then stuck on a boat about to explode, you would think there would be more discussion/fighting about who gets to go in the only way home.

They should have brought Frogurt. ;)

Faradays boat still has a few left and they will return to the island. Sawyer will lead them with Juliet.

Next season: Sawyer, Juliet, Miles, Faraday & Charlotte. Extras are there so there can be few action sequences for not important people to die in.

lol... me too. I guess we would be the Lostie leaders' sidekicks... Hurley is smart to stay close to Locke or Jack at all times.

It's a popularity contest as Artz said long ago before he blew up.

It's my theory they all have to die... so I guess blowing them up here and there is a good way to mass course correct. lol

At least Alex, Karl and Rousseau got to get shot and have cool death scenes. Speaking roles.

If Frogurt was on the boat he would have said something like, "Hey, I think this boat is giving me a rash. Does this look like a rash to you? I didn't have this rash when I left the Island. Does this boat have a doctor? Hey, is that a putting green on the stern of the boat? Can I play."

Good 'ol Frogurt.

I don't remember. Did everyone know the boat was about to blow or was it another one of those secrets they didn't bother to tell the red shirts?

I don't think anyone knew about the bomb but Desmond, Michael, and Jin...until Des told the 'copter people.

The redshirts with Daniel Faraday hadn't arrived at the freighter yet. I predict their lifeboat was sucked into the sphere of the island when it 'moved'.

The people in orange on the freighter were crew, I thought, and yeah, why didn't someone warn them? Of course, I guess there wasn't much point, since the thing was going to go up anyway. That way, there'd be no fighting over the chopper.

Why they didn't evacuate people from the freighter when they discovered the bomb bugs the heck out of me. Come on people! If there is 400 lbs of C4 on a ship, you try to get people off it. Weren't there other life boats/zodiacs/rafts? But then, no one ever made a public service announcement about the dangers of having sex and getting pregnant on the island either. :D

I think there were about three red-shirts who arrived on the freighter with Sun and Jin ? And I guess they all died. :(

That was Sullivan, wasn't it? And he was never heard from again after season 1.
