I've actually liked them all though, with the only one I've found not completely top-notch being Eggtown.

Personally i can't rank them i've enjoyed them all, I found "the other woman" the most like a S1/2/3 episode....the others have been all so high paced and slightly too revealing...but more exciting...so all equal!

As much as I liked The Constant (Demond-centric eps are always great) it felt very unLost-like; most of the action took place off the island. Also, the time travel stuff was a bit of a stretch and didn't make much sense.

The Economist was one of the best Lost eps ever, Sayid's flashes are even better than Desmond's. Tight writing, great production, acting and locations, a killer twist that I genuinely didn't see coming. Eggtown keeps The Other Woman off bottom spot because it was actually bad, whereas TOW was just boring and pointless.

1. "The Constant" -- by far, one of the best eps of Lost ever! Sure, it mostly centered on Desmond and no one else, but there's nothing wrong with that ;) It just had it all, romance, drama, tension, thought-provoking story, very fast-paced, and if you didn't think too much into it, it actually made a lot of sense too, believe it or not.

2. "The Economist" -- great ending, with a lot of potential future story material in terms of seeing how Sayid wound up as Ben's hitman. I thought the pace was a little slow in the FF material, but still good. Reminded me of a great James Bond film :biggrin:

3. "Confirmed Dead" -- very fast paced, interesting how they tied in all the newbies and create a lot of tantalizing mysteries about where these people came from, what's with the second 815, what are they doing on the island?

4. "The Beginning of the End" -- close behind CD = some great Hurley moments, and I loved seeing the Jack/Hurley FF interaction, which makes us wonder what secret they're keeping, and how Jack winds up like he does in TTLG. Also enjoyed creepy Abbadon, and hope we see more of him :biggrin:

5. "The Other Woman" -- some big plot holes, but I liked the Juliet FB material, esp the relationship with Ben, but some hokey soap opera moments too with the love quadrangle among the others, not to mention some plot issues with the island story involving the Tempest.

6. "Eggtown" -- sorry, folks, but this was one of the worst written Lost eps ever! After a huge build up for what would happen to Kate off island when she faced her past crimes, this gave us a very shoddy, hastily thrown together, cheap cop out for how she got off the hook. Aaron was the only good part of the ep, and there better be a good reason why she has him. The legal scenes were bad, the Jate material was sad (just get on with saying how you feel already!) And Sawyer was made to be completely weak and laughable in the ep -- just being used by Kate throughout. No one looked particularly intelligent in this ep.

I voted Cabin Fever because it gave me a story line that Claire has suceeded in redeeming herself and that is why she left wih Christian. She had to have an over-whelming reason just to leave Aaron. Even ,as many believe, she would be dead, she would not have put Aaron in harms way and just leave him by the fire. Using that thought it makes me believe that all will be fine.

Of course it could all be wishful thinking on my part.
