I'm so glad that I found this thread. I love Life and Damien Lewis is fantastic in his role as Charlie. I'm so glad that the show got picked up for a second season, I was worried that it wouldn't due to the writers strike.

I agree. So glad that it's coming back. The acting is wonderful, I've never seen Damien in anything else and he just owns that role.
I'm a bit of a zen nerd so the constant koanish (new word ) modes of speech are right up my alley. The underlying mystery/plot/conspiracy that surrounds both him and his partner (don't wanna say too much here in case there are those that wish to catch up with the show; which, by the way, I encourage you to do if you've not seen it) is really driving the show along for me and keeps me fully engaged.
...and The Wall, can't wait to see that filled in

I'm looking forward to Life coming back as well. I always dig a good conspiracy. Although, I have to say I may need a small refresher on the exact place we left off. Things started to really zip forward in the last episode or two, as I recall.
And yes, Damien does own the part. He's excellent.
Jenny, I've never watched the show, but I noticed the thread in New Posts, and was like "what the heck is imported_jennylee27"??? I asked Karri about it in the Bugs thread, btw. I figure it is something she is working on, and renamed handles' in that way during a transition, but I don't know.

Damien has come out in two mini-series that I have seen Band of Brothers and The Forsyte Saga. He is the reason I first tuned in to Life, and was happy to find out that it really is a great show
And I agree I love the conspiracy and mystery that surrounds the show.

I hope that they show reruns before it comes back on, because I too need a refresher Plus I think if they showed reruns it might get more people interested in the show.
First episode of season 2 airs Monday Sept. 29 at 10pm, following Heroes (good timeslot!). Ok, but here is where it gets weird. There will also be a new episode Friday of the same week, and then the following week there will be new episodes again on both Monday and Friday. Make sure you don't miss them!
